We were really please with the property - there was room in front of the property to park, everything was very clean and in good working order. We had to be careful not to set off the smoke alarm, but as we had been warned about this it wasn't a problem. Watchet was a very interesting place to be in with an interesting historical past. The local CoRead more-op good and we were able to find all our food (and drink) needs there. The number 28 bus service was terrific for going to Minehead and Taunton. Hide

Nice house, well equipped, conveniently placed to walk into the village. Good local Indian restaurant & chip shop. Several local pubs serving typical pub food, but need to book tables in advance. Lovely local ice creams on Esplanade. Enjoyed using the local Steam railway, and visiting Dunster village and castle. Also had a great day out at HestercoRead morembe Gardens, near Taunton. Hide

We found the house to be comfortable, clean and well equipped with a short easy downhill walk into Watchet. It was a great location to explore the Exmoor national park and the nearby coastal towns.

Beautiful cozy cottage with great views across the Severn estuary. The beds were very comfortable and the shower on the 2nd floor was excellent. Plenty of kitchen utensils allowed us to cook one evening and parking for 2 cars was a real bonus.

Great Place and great location for exploring the Northern side of the West Country for a week. Expect a generally slower pace of life in and around Watchet and just relax in this very quiet village location. We had a great week. The house is like a little Tardis, and it was great to sit outside in the evening. Easy walking in to town, where there was lots to see. Amazed by the history. Some good walks along the coast. If there had been a second car we could have parked it in the allocated space just across the road. Would not hesitate in recommending iRead moret to friends. Hide
