Renovated barn situated on the edge of the scenic Mendip Hills with spectacular views. The gorgeous garden has a plunge pool and hot tub helping to make this property the perfect base for exploring the Somerset Levels and beyond.

Set in the historic village of Banwell, this unique property is only a short drive away from nearby shops, cafes and pubs. An expanse of woodland lies behind the cottage and the local area is perfect for walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits. The ancient city of Bath is only 45-minutes’ drive away, offering a range of activities from enjoying the Roman Baths to shopping and eating out. The property has been renovated to a contemporary standard whilst still retaining its traditional feel with exposed beams and stained glass. Outside, a raised decking area offers panoramic views across the Somerset Levels. The split-level property is accessed by steep stone steps (which may be unsuitable for those with specific access requirements). The ground-floor bathroom offers a bath, over bath shower and towels. The lounge, also located on the ground floor, is the heart of the house with log burner (first basket of logs included), TV, Blu-Ray player and stereo with bluetooth connectivity. A range of books and DVDs is also provided. It is the perfect place to enjoy an evening in. A small galleried area with seating overlooks the lounge. The kitchen/diner can be found on the lower ground floor and is stylishly decorated with a gas oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The ground floor master bedroom offers a king-size bed. The second bedroom, situated on the upper floor, contains twin single beds. Outside there is a small patio area and steep stone steps lead up to a raised decked area, complete with outside seating and BBQ, from which to enjoy the views on warm evenings. A plunge pool and inflatable hot tub is also provided between May and September, with pool inflatables and garden games.

Excellent cottage in ideal location to explore Somerset. Nice and clean with all the facilities you need. The outside hot tub was a nice bonus to have. Friendly owners.

The drive way down to the cottage is very steep and not for faint-hearted drivers but the owner helped park the car on our arrival. The stairs are steep but doable. A very cosy cottage with lots of equipment available. Thank you for enabling us to have an amazing holiday with a young man with learning disabilities, he absolutely loved it. Carol and Richard greeted us and helped with our bags. The cottage is beautiful and on split levels. Due to previous experience i packed everything except the dishwasher and washing machine, however i didn't need to. The cottage had beverages, milk in fridge, wine on table [we don't drink, so it remained there when we left]. All the cleaning producRead morets except a broom. I do like a broom. The plunge pool and hot tub were great. There are steep stone steps to access the property, although these are referred to there were a lot more than anticipated. We made sure if we were spending a bit of time by the pool that we took everything we needed because of the steps. The property is on a very noisy, busy main road that often grinds to a hRead morealt because it is very narrow. There is no pavement so when vehicles are queued up the occupants look into the kitchen. Hide

We had a great week. The cottage is well stocked with everything. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. The only thing to remember is this part of the country is very hilly so there are quite a few steps, on the plus side you will go home fitter when you leave.

White Croft is beautiful! A lovely property with some great features. Everything you need is available - great stocked kitchen and a lovely comfortable bed. The garden area is beautiful with some great views. We had some lovely weather so did get to use the pool which is great...lots of inflatables and toys (two grown adults had loads of fun!) We had a brilliant reception on arrival, the owners even helped us unpack the car and carry the items to the property. Than showed us how everything worked before leaving us to enjoy our holiday, didnt see them after that but could contact them if any problems arised. Great sized rooms and the noise from the road is hardly noticeable. Property was Read morealways warm and great lighting throughout. It was a beautiful quirky cottage, really homely and cosy. Theres a lot of big steps outside and lots are stairs inside if you have young children, but they provided a safety gate which worked great for our 2 & 3 yr old! The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you would need and they provided lots of DVDs, games and books too.
